About Cap N Go®...

Cap N Go® was started in 1994 by Alicia Gray. After Alicia's first daughter was born, she wanted to work at home. Alicia started sewing at a young age, so making a business from sewing seemed only natural. She began making children's hats and selling them at a local craft faire. The response was tremendous. From the beginning, Alicia's desire was to create a business that would benefit other stay-at-home Moms.

In 1996, pregnant with her second child, the business suffered a setback when most of her house burned down and she lost all of her inventory. It took a year to recover from the devastation of the fire, but she pressed on and continued to create unique and original hats.

Alicia's goal is to offer hats and clothes of superior quality that are functional as well as adorable. Alicia still works at home and is constantly chasing her children and the neighborhood children around trying to get them to try hats on for her! Cap N Go® is definitely a family affair!

The bulk of the product line is now professionally manufactured, but her dream of helping other women has come to fruition. In February 2004, the business became available to other women in the form of distributorship. In addition, Alicia has several women working at home making bows, labeling and doing other finish work.
